On October 25th, the People's Government of Xianju County and Shenzhen Sinterial Technology Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony, reaching a consensus on the investment and construction of a new project with an annual output of 150,000 tons of battery cathode materials and precursors in Xianju County.Shenzhen Sinterial Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise focusing on the research, development, production, and application of new energy battery cathode materials and precursors. The company adheres to the combination of industry, academia, and research, specializing in the field of lithium-ion battery cathode materials and sodium-ion battery cathode materials. Currently, the company has established a complete industrial chain including mining development, material and precursor research and development, production, sales, lithium battery manufacturing, operation, and retired battery material recycling and reuse.The company's production bases include factories in Yibin, Sichuan, Yongzhou, Hunan, Pingxiang, Jiangxi, Tengchong, Yunnan, and the newly signed factory in Taizhou, Zhejiang. After reaching full production capacity, the total annual production capacity will reach 500,000 tons. Additionally, Sinterial has established a new energy research institute in Changsha, Hunan, to strengthen its in-depth technological research and development in the field of new energy. The company has already achieved large-scale production of lithium iron phosphate and lithium manganese oxide cathode materials, with complete technical reserves for lithium manganese iron phosphate, nickel manganese oxide, sodium battery cathode materials, and precursors, and has pioneered the large-scale industrialization of polyanionic sodium-ion battery materials.The project signed by Shenzhen Sinterial Technology Co., Ltd. in Xianju County this time has a total planned investment of 5.1 billion yuan, with fixed assets investment of 4 billion yuan. It is planned to build an automated production line for cathode materials and precursors, supporting the construction of raw material warehouses, finished product warehouses, and public supporting facilities, forming an annual production scale of 150,000 tons of battery cathode materials and precursors, with an expected annual output value of approximately 13.5 billion yuan.Before the signing ceremony, Chen Shou, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Mayor, and Li Liang, General Manager of Shenzhen Sinterial Technology Co., Ltd., conducted in-depth discussions on the specific matters of the cathode material project.
